Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Policy explains cancellations and refunds for services you pay for on JustReused: paid listing/promotion packages, and hire bookings between users. Deals for goods and property are between the buyer and seller; this Policy covers the services JustReused provides and the booking framework we operate.
Paid listing and promotion packages
Fees for paid listing or promotion packages are generally non-refundable once the promotion has started, except where required by law or where we fail to provide the service. If a paid listing is removed for breaching our rules, fees are not refunded.
Hire bookings and deposits
For items offered for hire, the owner’s cancellation terms and any deposit are shown before you book. In general:
- A refundable deposit may be held and is released after return if there is no damage or unpaid charge.
- Cancellations follow the owner’s stated policy (for example flexible, moderate, or strict) shown at booking.
- Platform service fees may be non-refundable on cancellation; the rental amount follows the cancellation policy.
- Damage or loss may be charged against the deposit, with evidence from the condition report.
Consumer cancellation rights
Where you buy as a consumer from a professional trader, you may have additional statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights (for example a cooling-off period in the EU/UK). Those rights are unaffected by this Policy. To request a refund, contact us with your order or booking details.
